Our Story
Iron Ranger is a locally owned neighborhood restaurant in Saint Paul, inspired by our family’s century-old bakery and deli on Minnesota’s Iron Range, along with years spent behind the bar in Sun Valley. Built on tradition and hospitality, we are passionate about serving quality food at a fair price while delivering friendly, attentive service. Whether you’re joining us for a quick bite or a relaxed evening out, our goal is to make every visit feel welcoming and memorable.
We proudly celebrate our Northern Minnesota roots. The Iron Range is known for its rich mining history, love of hockey, and cultural icons like Bob Dylan—but it’s also famous for its comforting, hearty cuisine. At Iron Ranger, we honor these traditions by serving regional favorites such as Porketta, Pasty, Sarma, and Potica, bringing authentic flavors to the Saint Paul community.
